Terms and conditions
Draft. These terms have not yet been reviewed by a solicitor and are a starting point, not advice. They must be reviewed before the site takes a real payment.
1. What we do
We publish adverts. We are not party to any sale and we are not the seller's agent.
2. Your account
You must be 18 or over to hold an account and 16 or over to buy an animal. One account per person. You are responsible for what is posted from it.
3. Adverts
You must have the legal right to sell or rehome the animal, comply with the licensing rules where you live, and follow the posting rules. Advert fees are for publication, not for a result, and are non-refundable once the advert is live - except where we remove it for a reason that is our fault.
4. Payments
Where a buyer uses {site} Payments, funds are held by our regulated payment partner, not by us, and the seller is the merchant of record. Refunds go to the original payment method.
5. Restrictions and appeals
We may remove an advert or restrict an account. If we do, we will tell you why in writing, and you may appeal to someone who was not involved in the decision.
6. Liability
Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
