Highlight
£5 for 7 days. One price for every species. It holds your advert above the unhighlighted ones in its category on the default sort and marks the card, so buyers can see that is why it is there. It does nothing on any other sort - it will not put you above a cheaper advert when somebody has asked for cheapest first. How ranking works.
Buyer Premium
£9.99 for 30 days. For buyers, not sellers. Free accounts can start conversations with 5 different sellers in any 24 hours, which is more than most people need; Premium raises that to 40. Replying to somebody who has written to you is never counted, on any account. What it is and is not.

Free for sellers. Always.
The buyer pays 2.9%, never more than £49. That covers holding the balance until collection, and our disputes team.

Why listing is free
An advert fee used to be our bluntest control on volume dealers, and it worked in the sense that it cost them something. It cost everybody else the same something, and a breeder with one litter a year was paying to keep a dealer out.
Identity verification does that job better. Every seller proves who they are before an advert goes live, a licensed breeder's council licence is checked against the register, and a person reads every advert. That is a much higher wall for somebody running a dozen throwaway accounts than fifteen pounds ever was, and it costs an honest seller nothing.
