A UK marketplace for finding a pet, built on the view that the checks are the product.

What we are

An advertising platform. Sellers pay to publish an advert; buyers browse free. We verify who sellers are, we check breeding licences against council registers, we read every report, and we hold the money when a buyer wants that protection.

What we are not

We are not a party to any sale. We do not own, keep, breed or transport animals, and we cannot guarantee an animal's health or temperament. Anyone who tells you a website can is selling you something.

How we make money

Three ways, all published: advert packages, boosts, and a capped buyer protection fee on Panjo Pets Payments. That is the entire list. We do not sell leads, we do not sell your data, and we do not take a commission on the sale. The prices are here.

Where we differ

• The protection fee is capped, and shown on the advert before you commit.
• Adoption adverts are free for rescues, permanently.
• Refunds go to your card, never to site credit.
• No account is restricted without a written reason and an appeal to a different person.
• We do not publish location pages that have nothing on them.
